Hello, my name is Cindy Alford, and I want to spread the news about my new adventure. I am opening a quilt retreat and shop in Van Alstyne, Texas. The setting is a 1880's two story Victorian home at the edge of Historical Downtown Van Alstyne. It has both upstairs and downstairs sleeping and bathrooms (4 to a room). The Inn has a wrap around porch and a shaded garden area. All lines and towels are provided. The sewing area is downstairs in a 24 x 26 room equipped with cutting tables, ironing boards and irons, and design walls. We will also have very comfy desk chairs. Everything is within walking distance of the Inn. Downtown has a lot to offer, antique shops, soda fountains, restaurants, tea room, and gift stores. The charge will be $65.00 per night per person with a 6 person/2 night minimum.

I have attached some pictures of the inn before renovations. We will also began selling quilt kits in about two weeks on the web site.
