Special Techniques Butterflies #203 Embroidery Design Projects

The special techniques butterflies collection has 18 beautiful butterfly motifs.  Eleven of the butterfly embroidery designs are stitched out in full color thread and are just so life-like.  Three of the butterfly designs can be stitched out as lace butterflies with white (or any color thread you'd like) and make lovely ornaments, gift tags or edge work designs for a blouse.  And there are also four butterfly motifs that are line "drawings" those I am really fond of because you can do so many fun things with them.  You could embroider them out and felt into them with the ER10 Felter..."sew" many possibilities!.

Name tag made with special techniques butterflies.  The butterfly was embroidered onto heavy wash away stabilizer, then stitched onto the name tag. When I stitched out the butterfly I left open spaces so it looks whispy.
