Cactus Punch Hawaiian Surprise Postcards
Fabric and Recycled Used Tyvek Envelopes Postcards made with
Cactus Punch Design Hawaiian Surprise SIG128. I used three of
the designs with sulky 30 wt blendables #7334020 thread. After
I embroidered the design with the Husqvarna Viking Designer Diamond
sewing machine they embroidery design was colored in with Tsukineko
inks.
The benefit to using the recycled Tyvek envelopes (other than the
project being green) is that they were sturdy enough to not use
stabilizer to embroider and they used tyvek took the ink from the
Tsukineko inks without needing a blender (aloe or shaving cream)
like the fabric needed.
